 NEW State Law regarding Roofing and Re-Roofing of structures built in Louisiana. The below Act No 239 describes the new requirement for which Calcasieu Parish will be enforcing starting January 1, 2026. More information will be posted here regarding inspection requests and forms that will be required.

*Inspections are a necessary part of enforcing a building code.  They ensure that structures are built to required minimum standards and that all of its elements are safe.  For information on inspection requirements, refer to documents below:
