NOTICE: The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Facility Management Department will temporarily close the boat launch at Intracoastal Park from 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22 through 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 due to construction. **

 

Calcasieu's best crabbing is right off the banks of Intracoastal Park.

Located south of Sulphur, under the Intracoastal draw bridge, this park has everything from a playground to a luxury fish cleaning station.

Sit back in your RV and watch the ships glide through the Intracoastal Canal!
