SENIOR CITIZENS ACADEMY
Calcasieu Parish seniors are invited to join the “Senior Citizens Academy.” The Academy provides the opportunity for seniors to learn more about their community with important topics such as the role of law enforcement in Calcasieu Parish, and how they can help keep their streets safe. The Calcasieu TRIAD Senior Citizens Academy will provide similar topics each month to offer a rewarding learning experience for seniors in our parish.
Registration is free and open to anyone 55 years of age or older. Monthly sessions will be approximately three hours long and include a continental breakfast and/or lunch to registered participants. Academy participants will be required to attend one educational activity per month for six months starting in June. To register and be put on the mailing list of events, call Angela Jouett at 337-721-4020 or email at ajouett@cppj.net.
