The Local Workforce Development Area (Region V), in collaboration with the Police Juries of Allen, Beauregard, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, and Vernon parishes, and the Louisiana Workforce Commission (sponsors this program) submits a Regional and Local Plan that defines the operation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). We provide Career Services to Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Youth in our region. In addition to the WIOA, services are also provided through Wagner-Peyser, Rapid Response, and Jobs for Veterans programs.
