The mission of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's Government Channel is to make local government accessible and inform residents about services and public affairs.

Increasing access to Police Jury meetings by televising them.

One Lane of Davison Road to be Closed Nov. 10 – Dec. 5
The eastbound lane of Davison Road, from LA 1133 to the railroad crossing, will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10 until 6 p.m. Dec. 5 for the delivery and installation of timber matting for power pole maintenance.

Police Jury Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Epps Memorial Library
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, along with other parish and city officials, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday for the new Epps Memorial Library at 1320 North Simmons St. in Lake Charles.

Waterworks District 8 of Ward 3 and 8 (LeBleu Settlement) to Begin Fire Hydrant Testing Starting Nov. 3
Utiliserve, a contractor hired by Waterworks District No. 8 of Wards 3 and 8 (LeBleu Settlement), will conduct fire hydrant inspections, flushing, and testing beginning Monday, Nov. 3.
