At the February 5th Regular Meeting, the Police Jury Tonight we celebrated Chris Landry and his retirement after more than 26 years of service as a Police Juror for Calcasieu Parish. His leadership, wisdom, and dedication will be truly missed. Wishing Mr. Landry all the best in this exciting next chapter! 

The Police Jury will appoint an interim Juror at the February 19 meeting.

The primary election will be held on May 16, 2026, and the run-off election, if necessary, will be held on June 27, 2026. Qualifying dates for said election will be February 11, 12, and 13, 2026. 

Chris Landry was elected in 1999 to his first term as a member of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. Currently, he is serving his seventh term representing District 7.

He was first elected in 1999 and served as vice president in 2006 and as president in 2007, 2016 and again in 2023.  

President and owner of Landry Supply/Napa Auto Parts, Landry is a past member of the Jobbers Advisory Council for the National Automotive Parts Association. 

Mr. Landry and his wife, Leslie, have three children.
