Brian Abshire is serving his third term representing District 5 for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. He was elected Police Jury President in 2021 and served as Vice President in 2020. 

Brian is active in the SWLA community and volunteers his time with various civic and volunteer organizations and has held leadership positions in many of them.  Brian is married to Tiffany Lewis and is the father of three children – Mason, Connor, and Shelby. He is actively involved at Immaculate Conception Cathedral School and St Louis Catholic High School, where his children attend. In his spare time, he enjoys spending his time with his wife, children, friends, and playing tennis.
