Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Has New Domain Name

Change will be reflected in website address, email addresses

As of Jan. 1, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has secured a new domain: “calcasieuparish.gov.”

The new domain will be reflected in the Police Jury’s website url and email addresses. This change will have numerous benefits in emails and on the web – the “.gov” domain provides greater trust on the Internet and the new domain name more clearly identifies the Police Jury as a local government organization.

The Police Jury’s web address and email addresses will begin showing “calcasieuparish.gov” over the next several weeks.

The website address www.cppj.net and email addresses ending with “@cppj.net” will continue to work indefinitely. Users will not need to change saved links, favorites or stored email addresses.
